WE DID IT! At the Finish Line of Budapest–Bamako 2026

The emotions have finally settled, the African dust has long fallen, and nearly three months after returning home, we can finally share the story of one of the greatest adventures of our lives.

The Silva Transport High and Heavy team has officially completed the legendary Budapest-Bamako 2026 Rally!

Over the course of more than two weeks, we covered nearly 9,500 kilometers, following the historic routes of the iconic Paris-Dakar Rally all the way to the capital of Sierra Leone.

Our Route:

  • Start: February 17, 2026 – Olsztyn, Poland
  • European Stage: crossing Europe all the way to Gibraltar
  • Africa: Tangier – Morocco – Western Sahara – Mauritania – Senegal – Guinea
  • Finish Line: March 6, 2026 – Freetown, Sierra Leone

Every day brought new challenges, hundreds of kilometers of rough roads, desert landscapes, and unforgettable encounters with the people and cultures of Africa.

More Than Just a Rally

For our team, this expedition had a much deeper meaning.
From the very beginning, we traveled under the banner of “Rally for Blood”, promoting the idea of voluntary blood donation and raising awareness about helping others.

Our goal was not only to experience an incredible motorsport adventure, but also to provide real support to people in need.

Thanks to the tremendous support of our partners, friends, and everyone involved in the project, we delivered:

  • sports equipment,
  • school supplies,
  • and essential materials supporting local communities in Africa.

The joy on the children’s faces became the greatest reward for every difficult kilometer we traveled.
